Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Riot VI (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riot VI comes to the cage accompanied by Grand Magus - Iron Will. Joseph Douglas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riot VI takes a kick to the side of the head.
Douglas throws a nice head kick!
Douglas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joseph Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Douglas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Riot VI shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Douglas as he avoids it easily.
Riot VI closes this distance looking for a takedown but Douglas circles away.
Douglas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Riot VI with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Riot VI sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Riot VI seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Douglas is holding on tight.

Riot VI has hold of Douglas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Douglas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Douglas connects with a solid leg kick.

Riot VI shoots in for a double leg but Douglas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Riot VI tries to pull guard but Douglas holds him up against the cage and eventually Riot VI drops back down to his feet.

Riot VI has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Douglas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Riot VI is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Whack! Douglas lands a heavy head kick that drops Riot VI. The ref tackles Douglas to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Riot VI was done.
