PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Hwoarang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iggor Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hwoarang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A close round but Iggor Souza will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hwoarang wants to get back to striking at distance but Souza won't allow it.

Souza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hwoarang is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Hwoarang slaps away a takedown attempt from Souza, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Souza is breathing heavily.

Hwoarang pushes off an throws an elbow but Souza leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Hwoarang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Souza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Iggor Souza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Souza has closed the distance and engaged Hwoarang in a clinch.
Oh Hwoarang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Souza blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Souza connects with a superb combination that knocks Hwoarang out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Souza before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Hwoarang!
