Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Berzins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Askren comes to the ring accompanied by Kanye West-Stronger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berzins gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Berzins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Berzins scores with a shoulder strike.
Askren goes for a takedown attempt but Berzins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Berzins scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Berzins clinches up against the ropes.
Berzins lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Berzins throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Berzins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Askren backwards.
Berzins digs a right hand into Askren's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Askren's gas tank.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Still in the clinch, Berzins scores with a nice short uppercut.
Askren is trying to stall.
Berzins lands with a right to the head.

Askren is rocked!
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Berzins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oh Askren is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Berzins is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Berzins digs a right hand into Askren's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Askren's gas tank.
Askren seems to have got his legs back now.
Berzins pushes Askren back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Berzins stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Still in the clinch, Berzins scores with a nice short uppercut.
Askren is breathing heavily.
Askren jumps guard but Berzins stands there with Askren around his waist. Askren gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Askren. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berzins dips a shoulder and cracks Askren with a mighty uppercut! Askren falls back against the ropes and Berzins unloads with a barrage of strikes! Askren is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Berzins screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

A relieved looking Samuel Berzins thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
