These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bouthillette closes the distance and pushes Spong back into the ropes.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Benny Bouthillette just wasn't active enough.
Spong tries to close the distance and clinch but Bouthillette swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Spong moves in looking to clinch but Bouthillette pushes him off.

Bouthillette looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Bouthillette lands a big head kick that sends Spong tumbling to the mat! Bouthillette takes a step backwards and waves Spong back to his feet - he wants the finish!
