Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bojan shoots in but Knight avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bojan has been working on his balance at Clean and Green, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Knight.
Knight looks for a takedown but Bojan sprawls well.
Bojan dives in for a single leg takedown but Knight sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.

DeMarcus Bojan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Knight.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bojan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bojan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Knight doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Knight manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bojan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knight can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Carlos Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bojan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bojan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bojan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Knight is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bojan yanks on the arm and Knight is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bojan.
