The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanfield misses with a double jab.
Mcgregor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Stanfield. That one must have hurt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Let's hope that Stanfield has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Aaron Stanfield was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Stanfield circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mcgregor drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Stanfield follows Mcgregor to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
