The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Jones wants to get back to full guard.
Jones is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Harvey Boyer.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones digs a good hook to Boyer's body.
Boyer closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Boyer pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones lands a hook that stumbles Boyer back into the cage. Jones follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Boyer to the canvas! Jones pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Boyer has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
