Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Milan Zitska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milan Zitska had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Milan Zitska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Carlos Knight!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zitska shoots for a takedown but Knight saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zitska sizes up Knight with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Knight moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Knight doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Knight gets the takedown into side control.
Zitska has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Knight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zitska is being controlled here.
Zitska is looking for a sweep.
Zitska is trying to control Knight's posture but Knight avoids it.
You can see the frustration on Zitska's face as Knight controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Knight scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Zitska tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Knight looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
It looks like Knight might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Zitska is looking to control Knight's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zitska avoid being mounted?
Knight slows the pace down in half guard.
Knight working over Zitska with some ground and pound. Zitska looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Knight in particular looking to stall.
Zitska is looking for a sweep. Knight is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, Knight seems content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carlos Knight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zitska looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Knight has picked Zitska up and slammed him! Zitska can't keep hold of the triangle and Knight manages to pass to side control!
Knight takes a little break here. Zitska wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zitska manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

A close round but Carlos Knight will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Zitska throws a right hand that Knight ducks under and follows up with a left that Knight also avoids with ease.
Knight darts in looking for a takedown but Zitska gets double underhooks and turns Knight into the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Zitska tries to throw a body punch but Knight avoids it by throwing Zitska back against the cage.
Zitska wants to break free but Knight has control.

Knight is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Knight cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Knight breaks from Zitska's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Zitska is wriggling around trying to escape.
Knight takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Knight is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zitska can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Carlos Knight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Zitska's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Carlos Knight hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Knight throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zitska was covering up waiting for the punch and Knight finishes the takedown easily into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zitska is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Knight slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carlos Knight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Knight winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
