Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Chihuahua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by A Country Boy Can Survive. Chihuahua has chosen Cypress Hill - Rise Up as his entrance music. El Chihuahua has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chihuahua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chihuahua throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Silva throws a leg kick but Chihuahua moved away.
Chihuahua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva.
Silva checks a low kick from Chihuahua.
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chihuahua fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silva on the side of the head.

It looks like Alexio Silva has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Chihuahua tries to land a leg kick but Silva saw it coming and moves away.

Silva clinches.
Silva lands with a left to the head.
Silva is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chihuahua to keep the fight standing.
Chihuahua throws a punch but it's blocked by Silva.
Silva jumps guard but Chihuahua turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Chihuahua misses with a punch on the inside.
Chihuahua tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chihuahua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chihuahua misses with a hook.
Silva takes one to the chin there.

Chihuahua misses with a looping right.
Chihuahua takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Chihuahua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva throws a wild body kick that Chihuahua sees coming a mile off.
Silva misses with a leg kick.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chihuahua manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chihuahua ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva misses with a body shot.
Chihuahua scores with a jab to the body.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chihuahua sprawls well. Chihuahua wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexio Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chihuahua was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.

Chihuahua avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An inside leg kick from Silva misses.
Chihuahua moves out of range of the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chihuahua in his tracks.

Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but El Chihuahua will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Chihuahua throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily.
Chihuahua throws a push kick but Silva slaps the foot to one side.

Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chihuahua is working to avoid the ground and pound but Silva connects with a decent elbow.
Chihuahua avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Silva.
Chihuahua wants to control but Silva postures up.

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chihuahua knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chihuahua, who protects the arm well.
Chihuahua is not content to let Silva control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva moves into full mount!

Chihuahua keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chihuahua wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away.

Silva is really struggling to control Chihuahua but he's trying to hold on to the position.
