Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Pinksy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adamah Rivlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drew Pinksy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adamah Rivlin!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinksy throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Rivlin stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Pinksy follows into mount!


Rivlin is rocked!


It looks like Adamah Rivlin has been cut.
Rivlin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rivlin is still in real trouble! Can Pinksy finish him?
Rivlin seems to have recovered his senses.
Rivlin is squirming around, avoiding Pinksy's attempts to control the action.
Rivlin regains half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rivlin has eaten all the pies!

Rivlin is refusing to be controlled, as Pinksy sits in half guard.
Rivlin works his way to full guard. Good work.

Rivlin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pinksy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rivlin will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Rivlin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pinksy manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pinksy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Rivlin or perhaps it was just good defense by Pinksy which made him look bad.
Pinksy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rivlin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pinksy throws a right and a left that Rivlin avoids nicely.

Pinksy gets caught flat footed, as Rivlin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rivlin postures up in Pinksy's guard and throws a big left but Pinksy blocks it.
Pinksy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Rivlin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rivlin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rivlin passes Pinksy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rivlin is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Rivlin has hold of Pinksy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pinksy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The referee warns Pinksy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Rivlin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pinksy is surviving well by controlling Rivlin's body position as best he can.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rivlin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Pinksy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Pinksy misses with the combination.
Good work by Rivlin as he checks the leg kick.
Pinksy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pinksy connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Rivlin to the floor! Pinksy dives in looking for the finish!
Rivlin is trying to get back to full guard.
Rivlin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Rivlin striking off his back but it's not causing Pinksy any problems.

Adamah Rivlin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Pinksy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rivlin on the ground.

Rivlin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinksy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Pinksy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pinksy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pinksy trying to control the position from guard on top but Rivlin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pinksy throws a sloppy head kick and Rivlin moves out of range easily.
Rivlin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pinksy as he jumps to the side.
Rivlin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pinksy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Rivlin moves out of range as Pinksy strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Adamah Rivlin will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Pinksy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rivlin moves away.
Pinksy lands a with a good body shot.
Pinksy misses with a body kick.
Pinksy lands a brutal head kick. Rivlin looks out on his feet and Pinksy throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
