Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hagen Merak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ramos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Merak.
Ramos lands a jab to Merak's midsection.

Merak connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ramos momentarily.

and Merak counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ramos thinking.
Ramos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Merak.

Ramos clobbers Merak with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Merak might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ramos throws out a loose jab but Merak uses good head movement to avoid it.

Merak misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ramos is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Ramos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Merak sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ramos ducks right into an uppercut from Merak.
Merak closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ramos! Merak dives in looking to finish! Ramos is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
