The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Henderson.
Henderson lands a nice shot that snaps Koetsuji's head back.
Koetsuji closes this distance looking for a takedown but Henderson circles away.

Koetsuji fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Henderson to the ground. Koetsuji is now in Henderson's guard.
Henderson has his foot on Koetsuji's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koetsuji works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Koetsuji takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We've been told by Koetsuji's head coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $300 fee) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
