Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Pikachoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Loosa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loosa tries to work over Pikachoo's front leg with a kick but Pikachoo checks it.
Pikachoo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loosa but Loosa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Loosa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Loosa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pikachoo drops his hands momentarily and Loosa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Loosa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pikachoo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Loosa is desperately trying to improve his position but Pikachoo has a good base and remains in mount.
Pikachoo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pikachoo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Loosa is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Loosa and Pikachoo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Loosa will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oh Pikachoo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Loosa tries to sprawl but Pikachoo drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pikachoo is trying to control. Loosa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Loosa is trying to get back to full guard.

David Pikachoo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Loosa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Loosa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pikachoo.

Loosa lands a big right hand that sends Pikachoo crashing to the mat! Loosa stays standing though and waves Pikachoo back to his feet!
