The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakic uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nog has time to react.
Rakic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nog.
Nog shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rakic but Rakic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rakic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nog.
Rakic misses with a series of wild punches.
Nog tries to clinch there but Rakic circles away.
Rakic slips a jab and a cross from Nog.
A left lands for Rakic.
Big Nog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nog wants to clinch
enabling Rakic to counter with a crisp jab.

Nog fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jozef Rakic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Nog.
Rakic lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nog backs up against the cage.

It looks like Big Nog has been cut.
Rakic connects with a superb combination that knocks Nog out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Rakic before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Nog!
