We've been informed that McGavin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGavin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Chulainn wants to hit a switch here but McGavin passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Chulainn there!

McGavin throws some wild stikes that Chulainn manages to avoid easily.
