Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Pig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Sir!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pig wants to slow Sir down by chopping away at his legs.
Pig circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pig swings for the body but Sir moves out of range.
Sir fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pig buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jab by Pig.
Pig is looking to slow Sir down with leg kicks.
Pig missing with a left hand there. Sir was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sir moves to clinch but Pig breaks away
and Pig counters with an inside leg kick.

Sir moves in looking to clinch but Pig pushes him off.

Pig looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Pig lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sir backwards.
Pig comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Sir tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pig's elbow.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sir has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pig creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Pig is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Sir passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pig!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sir is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

Sir jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pig is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pig and Sir has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sir thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sir tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sir has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Pig's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sir is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pig defends it well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pig is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pig here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

and Pig counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Pig lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Pig decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sir's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pig defends it easily.

Pig seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sir does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Pig seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
