Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Graveyard Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jens Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghost comes to the cage accompanied by Howlin Wolf- Smokestack Lightening. Pedersen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Killing in the name of.... Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Graveyard Ghost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jens Pedersen!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghost tries to move into range but Pedersen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ghost uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pedersen.

Pedersen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ghost drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pedersen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pedersen lands an elbow that stopped Ghost in his tracks for a moment.
Ghost tries to pull guard but Pedersen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
A short left from Pedersen.
Pedersen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ghost's defenses.
Ghost fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graveyard Ghost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pedersen is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Pedersen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Pedersen lands with a left to the head.
Ghost blocks a body shot from Pedersen.
Pedersen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ghost backwards.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Pedersen.
Pedersen lands a hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ghost jumps into guard, dragging Pedersen to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Pedersen trying to control the position from guard on top but Ghost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ghost is looking for a triangle but Pedersen pushes his legs off easily.

Ghost escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pedersen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pedersen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ghost is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pedersen is aware though and is defending well.

Ghost looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pedersen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pedersen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ghost trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Ghost looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pedersen is one step ahead there.
Pedersen trying to control but Ghost is working from the bottom.

Ghost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ghost wants to sweep here but Pedersen controlling him for the moment.
Pedersen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ghost has his foot on Pedersen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pedersen works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
We've been hearing good reports from Ghost's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Ghost is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pedersen has his hands clasped together but Ghost extends and breaks Pedersen's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ghost.
