PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Givens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Givens comes into the arena with 12 Stones-Psycho blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Givens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Perry!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Perry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Perry tries to clinch up but Givens circles away and keeps his distance.
Perry feints a jab promting Givens to slip. Perry then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Givens slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Patrick Givens has been cut.

Givens throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Perry was covering up waiting for the punch and Givens finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Perry keeping moving, preventing Givens from controlling successfully.
Givens has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Givens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Givens lands a couple of digs.

Perry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Givens is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Perry has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Givens is looking to defend but Perry has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Givens! Perry pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Givens taps out and this one is all over!
