Roman is trying to trip Holmes. He has hold of a leg but Holmes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Roman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roman prevents Holmes from getting back to his feet.
Roman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Roman postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Holmes's head off the mat! Holmes is out! He's out! Roman jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
