The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moszna looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rakic is fending him off so far but Moszna persists. Nope, Rakic circles away and we're back to standing.
Rakic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Moszna content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Moszna wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rakic keeps working.
Moszna remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Rakic is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Moszna has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Moszna has control of Rakic's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rakic regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Moszna is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rakic can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Moszna swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rakic is now in Moszna's guard. A big mistake from Moszna there, giving up the dominant position!

Moszna had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rakic defends it easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rakic wants to control from the top but Moszna keeps moving.
Rakic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moszna swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moszna throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rakic sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rakic throws a nice looking combination but Moszna bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marcin Moszna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rakic lands a really nice looking cross but Moszna seems unphased.

Moszna throws a hook but Rakic blocks it.

Rakic connects with a body shot that sends Moszna's belly button to the back.
Rakic throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Moszna crashing down! Moszna tries to stagger back to his feet but Rakic just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Moszna asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
