Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Ramierez!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramierez shoots in and drives through. Rimppi sprawls well.
Rimppi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rimppi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ramierez in his tracks.

Rimppi gets caught napping as Ramierez dives in and scores a takedown. Rimppi manages to retain guard.

Ramierez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rimppi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ramierez has gone for a leg lock! Rimppi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ramierez's guard.

Rimppi uses his free foot to push down on Ramierez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ramierez.

Ramierez holds on, trying desperately to control.
Ramierez wants to control but Rimppi is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Ramierez dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rimppi works over Ramierez's head and body with a nice combination.
Ramierez tries for a takedown but Rimppi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramierez.

Rimppi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ramierez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ramierez is still on wobbly legs! Can Rimppi finish him?
Ramierez moves out of range of the strikes.
The fighters circling - Rimppi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've been told by Rimppi's head coaches at WarZone Training Facility 2 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ramierez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rimppi throws a hook but Ramierez avoids it easily.
Ramierez moves away from the strike by Rimppi.
Rimppi lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Ramierez out cold! Ramierez is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Erkki Rimppi!
A very excited looking Erkki Rimppi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
