The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warton ducks under a wild hook from Giggs.
Warton has Giggs up against the cage in a clinch.

Warton is fighting off a takedown attempt but Giggs is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Warton to the mat. Warton regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

It looks like Wayne Giggs has been cut.

Giggs takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Warton fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Giggs checks it well.

We've been told by Warton's head coaches at Warrior MMA and Fitness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Warton is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warton throws a looping overhand right but Giggs ducks down to avoid it.
Warton looks to land a left hand but Giggs moved out of range nicely.

Giggs lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Warton backwards.
Warton is rocked!
Giggs unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Warton! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Giggs is unloading with more strikes now! Warton drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayne Giggs!
