Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robinson Kash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson Kash has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kash lands a nice shot that snaps Volkov's head back.

Volkov shoots in and gets a takedown into Kash's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kash is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Volkov is aware though and is defending well.
Kash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Volkov is taking a breather. Kash says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Volkov is trying to control. Kash wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Still in half guard, Volkov seems content to control.
Volkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kash has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Volkov is working away from the top position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Volkov clinches up with Kash and pushes him back against the cage.

Volkov has hold of one of Kash's legs. Kash is fighting the takedown attempt but Volkov gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Volkov on the ground.
Volkov loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kash scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Volkov land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Volkov stands and salutes the crowd.
