Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jae Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent Rock will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock dives in for a single leg takedown but Morgan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd cheers as Rock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Morgan doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Jae Morgan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rock tries for a takedown but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Morgan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morgan wants it to stay on the feet.

Morgan shoots in and bounces Rock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Rock clobbers Morgan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Morgan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rock can't fight it off and eventually Morgan manages to take the fight to the floor. Rock looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Morgan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rock is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morgan, into his guard.

Rock is in close to Morgan's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Morgan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rock is one step ahead there.
Rock lands a couple of elbows.
Rock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Morgan has momentary wrist control but Rock slips an elbow through the middle.
Rock stands up over Morgan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morgan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jae Morgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Rock swings for the body but Morgan moves out of range.
Morgan dodges the punch combination from Rock.
Rock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morgan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Morgan has hold of Rock's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Rock tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Morgan cranks the arm and Rock screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Rock, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
