PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Rivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Gauge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rivas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cypress Hill-Insane in the Membrane. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Greg Gauge enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oscar Rivas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Gauge!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gauge drives through with a takedown into Rivas's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rivas throws a strike but Gauge rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rivas manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gauge keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
