Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ronald Isaacs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Frettish!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isaacs looks to score with a jab to the body but Frettish is just out of range.
A big left from Isaacs misses.
Isaacs jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Frettish moves forwards but Isaacs connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Isaacs swings widly with a right hand
and Frettish counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Frettish misses the shot to the body.
Isaacs throws a big shot that misses.
Isaacs takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Isaacs dives in for a single leg takedown but Frettish sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Isaacs drops down looking for an ankle pick but Frettish pulls his leg out and moves away.
Isaacs throws a hook but Frettish blocks it.
A shot to the body from Isaacs misses
and Frettish connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Isaacs is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Frettish's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Frettish ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Frettish getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Isaacs swings for the body but Frettish moves out of range.
Frettish moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Frettish takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Isaacs walks into a stiff left hand from Frettish.
Isaacs seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Isaacs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Isaacs ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Isaacs throws a series of punches but Frettish avoids them all with ease.
Isaacs throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Frettish to counter with a crisp jab.
Ed Frettish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Isaacs has managed to clinch.
Isaacs presses Frettish against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Isaacs stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Come on Isaacs - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Isaacs lands a body punch.
Frettish looks winded!

Isaacs lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Frettish backwards.
A short body shot lands from Isaacs as the two fighters clinch.
Isaacs lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Isaacs lands a body shot in the clinch.

Isaacs lands a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Isaacs is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Frettish is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Frettish has escaped and now he's on top!

Isaacs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frettish is aware though and is defending well.

Isaacs pushes a forearm under Frettish's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Frettish is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ronald Isaacs!
A very excited looking Ronald Isaacs rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
