Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bartholomew Roach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamood Hallak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roach comes to the cage accompanied by The Simpsons Theme Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hamood Hallak!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roach lands with an uppercut that bounces Hallak off the cage and back into range.
Hallak looks to clinch
and Hallak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Hamood Hallak has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hallak has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hamood Hallak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roach misses the shot to the body.
Roach throws a looping overhand right but Hallak ducks down to avoid it.
Hallak tries to clinch there but Roach circles away.
Hallak has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hallak there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hallak falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roach throws a head kick that misses.
Hallak cracks Roach with a good jab.

It looks like Bartholomew Roach has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Roach.
Hallak throws a series of punches but Roach avoids them all with ease.
Roach misses with a wild combination.
Hallak looks to land a right hand but Roach moved out of range.
Roach throws a body kick that misses.
Roach turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hallak throws out a loose jab but Roach uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roach throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Roach connects with a body shot.
Roach is looking to land body kicks.
Roach is looking to clinch.
Hallak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bartholomew Roach is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hallak crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Roach - the referee stops the clock and Hallak gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Roach. Hallak manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Roach scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roach throws out a powerful jab.
Roach moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Roach. That's going to slow Hallak down.
Roach lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hallak at a distance.

Roach lands a big uppercut and Hallak crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hallak looks OK. Roach waves Hallak back to his feet!

Hallak is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Roach ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Hallak clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
