Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Asaki Minimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Van (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Van has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asaki Minimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Van!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minimoto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Van swivels and escapes.
Van keeps the fight on the outside.
Minimoto takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Minimoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Van clinches with his opponent.
Minimoto misses with some punches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Van.
Van lands a knee to the head.
Minimoto can't find room to land a body shot as Van controls the action.
Van manages to break the clinch.
Van tries for a takedown but Minimoto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Minimoto drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Van keeping moving, preventing Minimoto from controlling successfully.
Van is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Minimoto is controlling him.
Minimoto wants to pass the guard but Van is keeping the position.
Minimoto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Minimoto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Minimoto is looking to take a break and control but Van is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Minimoto tries to score with some ground and pound. Van controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Minimoto wants to control for a moment but Van uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Van really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Minimoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Minimoto regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Van preventing the sweep.
Minimoto is trying to control the position but Van postures up.
Minimoto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Van is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Minimoto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Van's back instead.
Van is trying to get back to his feet but Minimoto has full control of the position and if anything, Van has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Minimoto is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Van is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Minimoto is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Van is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Minimoto gets his way!
Minimoto is looking to control Van but Van is wriggling around and keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van wants to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Minimoto missing with punches from the back.
Will Minimoto go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Minimoto has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Van's body.
Van prevents Minimoto from getting a body triangle.
Minimoto scores with punches from the back.
Minimoto is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Van is defending well though. Minimoto let's go of the attempt for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asaki Minimoto dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Minimoto closes the distance and clinches up with Van, looking for a takedown. Minimoto pushes Van against the cage but Van circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Minimoto throws a push kick but Van slaps the foot to one side.
Van tries to clinch but Minimoto moves away
and Minimoto counters with a head kick. That will keep Van thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Minimoto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Minimoto throws a head kick that Van semi-blocks.
Van is rocked!
Horrible takedown by Minimoto or perhaps it was just good defense by Van which made him look bad.
Van is still on wobbly legs! Can Minimoto finish him?
It's a brutal combination of punches from Minimoto! Van is backing up but he can't get away as Minimoto lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Van and ends the fight. Great knockout.
