The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Saw misses with a takedown attempt - Worldwide sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The Saw fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from The Saw.

The Saw misses with a body kick.
The Saw shoots in looking for a takedown but Worldwide manages to keep the fight standing, pushing The Saw's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The Saw throws a series of punches but Worldwide moves out of range.
A slow jab from Worldwide misses its intended target.
The Saw throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

The fight stays on the outside here - The Saw looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Worldwide has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Worldwide looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The Saw shoots in looking for a takedown. Worldwide tries to sprawl out of it but The Saw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Worldwide manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The Saw fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Worldwide avoids it really well and circles away.

Worldwide feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Worldwide drops back looking for a leg! The Saw is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Saw manages to kick Worldwide off! Worldwide jumps back into The Saw's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Worldwide passes the guard and advances to mount!
The Saw wants to hold on but Worldwide pushes him away.

Worldwide is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Worldwide extends the arm and The Saw is forced to tap!

Mister Worldwide took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
