Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kesigan Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idesiku Ikupe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kesigan Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Idesiku Ikupe!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost fails in his attempt to clinch.

Ikupe pushes Hoost up against the ropes in a clinch.

Ikupe told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Ikupe has had enough of the clinch but Hoost keeps him there for the moment.
Ikupe gets through Hoost's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Ikupe lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hoost backwards.

Hoost using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ikupe has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ikupe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's time! Hoost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Ikupe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hoost, pushing him back against the ropes.

Hoost tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Still in the clinch, Ikupe scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ikupe stalling in the clinch.
Ikupe lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ikupe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.


Hoost is rocked!
Hoost tries a knee to the head but Ikupe blocks it.
Oh Hoost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoost pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Ikupe lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ikupe softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Ikupe tries to circle away but Hoost has him pinned against the ropes.
Ikupe creates a bit of distance and cracks Hoost with a big uppercut! Hoost goes down! The referee pushes Ikupe away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Hoost make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Ikupe takes it!
