Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Royce Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie scores with a one two! Nguyen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gracie lands a body shot.

Gracie works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Gracie digs a good hook to Nguyen's body.
Gracie cracks Nguyen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nguyen's half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nguyen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
