Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rashad Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Jones!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stout drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jones is trying to control Stout's posture but Stout avoids it.

Stout is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
Jones is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stout looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jones is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones gets back to half guard.

Stout is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Stout passes into side control, despite Jones's attempt to control the position.
Jones throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Jones is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Stout could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stout looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Jones looking for a sweep but Stout has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Jones tries to hold on but Stout pushes him away.
You get the feeling that Jones really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Stout trying to control but Jones is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones tries to lock up and control but Stout gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jones is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Stout is staying active.
Stout landing punches.
Jones is trying desperately to improve position.
Jones wants to hold on but Stout pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Stout will probably get the nod.

Jones darts in and clinches Stout up against the cage.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. Stout has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jones tries for a takedown but Stout sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Jones looking to score a takedown here. Stout is defending well but Jones drives through and ends up in Stout's guard.
Stout might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jones advances to half guard.
Stout is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!

Jones wants to control his opponent's hands but Stout gets his hands free.

Stout working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Stout missing with punches from the back.
Jones trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Jones manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stout's guard. Nice work there by Jones.
Jones is standing up over Stout. Stout looks to escape but Jones dives into side control.

Stout takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jones trying to control the action but Stout is working from the bottom.

Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jones pushes Stout up against the cage in a clinch.
Jones lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Stout can't break the clinch.

Jones manages to pull guard.
Stout trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jones has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Stout has passed into side control.
Stout in side control, throwing shots but Jones defends.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Stout takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stout is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stout swivels and escapes.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stout sprawls well. Stout wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stout pinned against the cage. Stout gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rashad Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Jones.

Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jones. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Stout is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jones is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Stout to the mat. Stout regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Stout gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jones wants to control but Stout is keeping busy.

Stout is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.

Jones trying to get back to full guard but Stout takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Jones is working to get back to half guard.
Jones is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Stout is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position.
Jones wants to improve his position but Stout is controlling well.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jones landing rabbit punches to the side of Stout's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ray Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
