Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul Kenshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Kenshiro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kenshiro manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Kenshiro on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kenshiro keeps working.

Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've been hearing good reports from Jones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jones winds up and cracks Kenshiro with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kenshiro has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jones lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kenshiro with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
