Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Gaspar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Gaspar!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaspar fails to land the takedown.
Duncan slaps away a takedown attempt from Gaspar, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gaspar shoots in but no luck this time.
Dwayne Duncan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Gaspar.
Gaspar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duncan but Duncan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gaspar shoots in looking for a takedown. Duncan tries to sprawl out of it but Gaspar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duncan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Duncan moves in looking to clinch but Gaspar pushes him off.
Gaspar shoots for a double leg takedown but Duncan sprawls well. He's pushed Gaspar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gaspar throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gaspar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gaspar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duncan but Duncan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Duncan tries to clinch there but Gaspar circles away.

Gaspar is looking to stand back up but Duncan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gaspar.

Duncan is trying to control the action in half guard but Gaspar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Duncan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Gaspar controls his leg.

Duncan wants to work for an arm triangle but Gaspar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Gaspar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duncan walks away with a smile on his face. Gaspar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Duncan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duncan wants it to stay on the feet.

Gaspar is breathing heavily.
Duncan tries to clinch but Gaspar moves away
and Gaspar counters with a body kick.
Gaspar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duncan as he jumps to the side.
Duncan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gaspar tries to avoid it but Duncan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gaspar to the ground. Gaspar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Duncan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Duncan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gaspar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gaspar sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Duncan prevents Gaspar from improving his position.
Duncan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gaspar's head.

Duncan is looking for a kimura but Gaspar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Duncan to get the leverage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gaspar manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gaspar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gaspar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Gaspar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Duncan is aware though and is defending well.
Duncan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gaspar uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Duncan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Viktor Gaspar will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Duncan is pressed up against the cage. Gaspar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duncan down to the mat. Duncan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Gaspar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Gaspar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Duncan's guard.
Duncan wants to sweep here but Gaspar controlling him for the moment.

Gaspar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Gaspar or perhaps it was just good defense by Duncan which made him look bad.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dwayne Duncan.
I think Gaspar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
