Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zell Griever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griever comes into a darkened arena with his song building. X-Files Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant missing with a left hand there. Griever was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Griever is looking to land body kicks.
Griever defending well as Tennant loads up on a big left hand.
Griever waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tennant.
Griever moves out of range of the strikes.
Tennant lands a really nice looking cross but Griever seems unphased.

Griever ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Griever throws a hook to the side of Tennant's head but Tennant sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tennant lands with an overhand left.
Griever throws a hook but Tennant avoids it easily.
Tennant definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Griever is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Griever takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A big left from Tennant misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griever looks to land a body kick but Tennant moved away.
Tennant takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Tennant connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Griever's hands.
Tennant on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Tennant rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Griever counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tennant blocks the body kick.
Tennant scores with a jab to the jaw.
Tennant jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tennant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Griever circles away quickly and effectively.
Tennant misses with a hook. Griever ducked under it nicely.

Tennant looks to land a right hand but Griever moved out of range.

It looks like Zell Griever has been cut.
Griever throws a shot to the body.
Both fighters circling a little - Griever finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Tennant is breathing heavily.

Griever moves in looking to clinch but Tennant pushes him off.
Griever throws a half hearted mid kick.
Griever scores with a jab to the body.
Tennant doesn't manage to clinch there - Griever circles away.
Tennant is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Griever throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Griever throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A shot to the liver by Griever. Beautiful body shot.
Griever lands with a nice combination. Tennant backs away looking to recover.
Tennant on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Griever throws a sloppy head kick and Tennant moves out of range easily.
Sloppy strikes from Tennant. Those never looked like landing.
Griever cracks Tennant with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tennant looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Griever finish him?
Tennant is rocked!
Griever fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Tennant out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Zell Griever!

In defeat, David Tennant stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry guys, I will improve myself again.'.
