And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Urskilz can pounce on him.
Urskilz tried to score with a low kick but Hopkins checks it.
Hopkins throws a hook to the side of Urskilz's head but Urskilz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Urskilz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Urskilz cracks a nice hook into Hopkins's ribs.
Urskilz cracks the inside of Hopkins's front leg.
Urskilz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hopkins moves away from the strike by Urskilz.
Urskilz throws a sloppy head kick and Hopkins moves out of range easily.

Hopkins gets tackled into the ropes by Urskilz. Urskilz maintains the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Hopkins.
Urskilz lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Urskilz throws a knee to the head but misses.
Urskilz putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hopkins in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hopkins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Urskilz.

Hopkins fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hopkins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Urskilz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hopkins.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Urskilz is stalking Hopkins. Hopkins circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Urskilz, and it's lights out! Hopkins really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
