Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snake has chosen Im a Ninja as his entrance music. Solid Snake has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Faustino Hooper's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Faustino Hooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Solid Snake!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snake as he avoids it easily.
Hooper shoots in looking for a takedown but Snake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hooper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Snake leaves Hooper with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Faustino Hooper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hooper wants to clinch up but Snake keeps it at a distance.
Hooper throws a body kick that misses
and Snake counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hooper thinking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hooper.
Hooper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Snake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hooper circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hooper shoots in for a takedown but Snake shows good takedown defense.

Snake shoots in and bounces Hooper off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Snake wants to control from the top but Hooper keeps moving.
Snake makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Snake trying to control but Hooper is working from the bottom.
Snake must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Snake is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Snake looking to pass the guard.
Snake is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Solid Snake wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hooper fails with a takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snake tries a head kick but it misses.

Snake closes the distance and clinches.
Hooper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hooper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hooper avoids the head kick by Snake.
Hooper fails with a takedown attempt.
Hooper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hooper misses with a takedown attempt - Snake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hooper is breathing heavily.

enabling Snake to counter with a crisp jab.
Hooper doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Snake counters with a flying knee. Nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Solid Snake dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Snake clinches up with Hooper and pushes him back against the cage.


Hooper is rocked!
Snake tries a knee to the head but Hooper blocks it.
Oh Hooper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hooper is pressed against the cage. Snake pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Hooper! Two more big strikes from Snake and Hooper crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Solid Snake!
A very excited looking Solid Snake rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
