The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Echoes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Echoes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Echoes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
ss wants to get back to his feet but Echoes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
ss is trying to control the position but Echoes postures up.
Echoes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The ref stands the fighters back up. bb ss wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Echoes just misses with a punch to the body.
Echoes throws a body punch but ss moves out of range.

Echoes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging ss to the ground. Echoes is now in ss's guard.

Echoes is pushing down on ss's leg trying to pass to half guard. ss is fighting to maintain full guard but Echoes has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Echoes seems to be looking for submissions.
