Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Cojones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Schellmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cojones comes into the arena with Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pablo Cojones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stefan Schellmann!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schellmann misses with a straight left.

Cojones feints and as Schellmann raises his hands in defense, Cojones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cojones looking to pass the guard.
Cojones trying to control the position from guard on top but Schellmann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cojones is really struggling to control Schellmann but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pablo Cojones wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Cojones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Schellmann is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cojones pulls his head out easily.

Schellmann is looking to improve his position.
Cojones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Schellmann makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Schellmann.

Cojones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Cojones looking to pass the guard.
Cojones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Cojones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Schellmann looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Cojones passes into half guard.

Cojones is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Schellmann still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Schellmann has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Cojones wants to get back to full guard.

Schellmann is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Schellmann wants to control but Cojones is keeping him busy.
Cojones is looking to control Schellmann's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cojones avoid being mounted?
Schellmann is trying to control the action in half guard but Cojones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cojones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cojones.
Schellmann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cojones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cojones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Schellmann makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Schellmann.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cojones gets caught napping as Schellmann dives in and scores a takedown. Cojones manages to retain guard.
Schellmann throws a big elbow that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cojones is on top in guard.
Cojones connects with a couple of short punches.
Cojones trying to control the position from guard on top but Schellmann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cojones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Schellmann dives on top into guard.

Schellmann wants to pass the guard but Cojones is keeping the position.
Pablo Cojones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cojones is trying to control the position but Schellmann postures up.
Cojones wants to sweep but no luck.
Schellmann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cojones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Pablo Cojones.
Schellmann throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cojones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pablo Cojones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Schellmann.

Schellmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Cojones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Schellmann is trying to pull guard but Cojones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Pablo Cojones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Schellmann.

Cojones wants the takedown. Schellmann is fighting it off but Cojones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Schellmann's guard against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cojones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Schellmann's guard.
Cojones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cojones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schellmann keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cojones is just content to waste time from the top position. Schellmann takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Schellmann throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cojones was covering up waiting for the punch and Schellmann finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cojones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Schellmann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cojones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Schellmann tries to hold on but Cojones postures up.
Stefan Schellmann has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cojones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Schellmann's face.
Schellmann wants to hold on but Cojones pushes him away.
Cojones looking to finish Schellmann with some ground and pound. This is bad for Schellmann!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cojones working the ground and pound effectively.
BOOM! Cojones connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cojones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Schellmann is trying desperately to improve position.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Cojones here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Cojones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Schellmann is looking to escape.
Pablo Cojones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cojones looking to control and managing it successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cojones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
