Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Warren G Benz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoine De La Morte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benz comes to the cage accompanied by Gaff's Eulogy by Andrew Bayer. De La Morte has chosen The Prodigy - Spitfire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Morte throws an overhand right that lands on Benz's shoulder, as Benz tries to avoid the shot.
Benz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and De La Morte decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Benz's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
De La Morte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Benz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
De La Morte is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Benz got a little sloppy there for a moment and De La Morte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Benz has managed to get both his arms back between De La Morte's legs - danger averted.

De La Morte can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Benz controls the pace.

De La Morte had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benz defends it easily.
