Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Skip Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Lemieux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pierre Lemieux!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux takes a swing at Torres's ribcage but misses.
Lemieux keeps the fight on the outside.
Torres misses with a low kick.
Torres moves in looking to clinch but Lemieux pushes him off.
Torres tries to bum rush Lemieux with a series of wild strikes but Lemieux uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lemieux tries to clinch there but Torres circles away.
Torres misses with the combination.
Torres misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lemieux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Torres swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lemieux closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Lemieux.
Lemieux is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Torres is defending well for now.

Lemieux escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Torres lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Torres keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Torres tries to bum rush Lemieux with a series of wild strikes but Lemieux uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Torres looks for a takedown but Lemieux sprawls well.
Torres scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Torres shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lemieux sprawls well. Lemieux wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Torres gets slowly back to his feet.

Lemieux has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lemieux is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

A frustrated look appears on Torres's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lemieux misses with a punch to the body.
Lemieux misses with a knee to the head.

Lemieux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Torres will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lemieux checks the leg kick nicely there.
Lemieux avoids the head kick by Torres.
Lemieux avoids a punch combination nicely.
Torres looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Torres drives through and clinches with Lemieux against the cage.

Lemieux will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Torres up against the cage.

and Torres holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Torres is looking to break free of the clinch but Lemieux has double underhooks.
Lemieux tries a knee to the head but Torres blocks it.
Lemieux stalling.
Lemieux has Torres pressed against the cage, preventing Torres from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Torres fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Skip Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Torres is looking to control Lemieux's arms but Lemieux gets an underhook and turns him. Now Torres has his back to the cage.
Lemieux tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Torres smiles and moves away.
Torres throws a right and a left that both miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lemieux tries to close the distance and clinch but Torres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pierre Lemieux will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lemieux wants to clinch up but Torres keeps it at a distance.
Torres pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Torres shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Torres jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A bone on bone clash there as Lemieux blocks the leg kick.

Lemieux instigates a clinch.
Lemieux misses with a knee strike.
Lemieux misses with a body punch.

Lemieux jumps guard but Torres turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Torres blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Torres takes a knee right on the jaw!
Torres is trying to force a seperation but Lemieux has the dominant position.
Lemieux has Torres pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Torres manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lemieux is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Torres can't fight it off and eventually Lemieux manages to take the fight to the floor. Torres looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lemieux content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Torres has locked up a guillotine! Torres's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lemieux is holding on here and Torres must be using up a lot of energy. Lemieux has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Torres gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
