Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kizzy Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Suzuki is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Suzuki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Suzuki is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, White asserts his dominance and retains side control.
White tries to score with some ground and pound. Suzuki controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
White tries to advance to mount but Suzuki denies him.
White throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Suzuki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Suzuki blocking the ground and pound attempt from White.
White prevents Suzuki from improving his position.
Suzuki pushes White off looking to stand but White dives back in and keeps control.
White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suzuki on the ground.

White thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
White misses with a head shot. Suzuki uses the momentum to regain guard.
White won't allow Suzuki to sweep him here.
White has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
White tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Suzuki swivels and escapes.
Suzuki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Suzuki throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.

and Suzuki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White is breathing heavily.

White looks for a takedown but Suzuki sprawls well.

Suzuki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for White!
Oh White is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suzuki wants to control the pace but White is squirming around nicely.
White seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Suzuki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

White on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if White tries to get out of the position.

White defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Suzuki.
Suzuki is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

Suzuki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as White is looking to escape.

Suzuki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but White is surviving well by controlling Suzuki's body position as best he can.

White is squirming around, avoiding Suzuki's attempts to control the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Suzuki unloads with some shots from mount but White bucks and avoids them well.

White has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
White rolls, trying to escape but Suzuki keeps control of the position.
White avoids the strikes from Suzuki.
Suzuki trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Suzuki is hanging on to White's back as he tries to escape.
White wants to control his opponent's hands but Suzuki gets his hands free.
White tries to roll but Suzuki sticks to his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kizzy Suzuki dominated that round.
That's time! White's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Suzuki lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Suzuki misses with the combination.
White shoots in but no luck this time.
White keeps the fight on the outside.
White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Suzuki to counter with a crisp jab.
Chuck White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White shoots in but Suzuki avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Suzuki tries to close the distance and clinch but White swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Suzuki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Suzuki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Suzuki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Suzuki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
White will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

White walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Suzuki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Suzuki rushes White with punches - White moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, White goes down! Suzuki follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kizzy Suzuki!
