Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFist looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dijk misses with a takedown
and McFist counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McFist.
Dijk throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
McFist slips nicely into half guard.
McFist trying to pass the guard but Dijk defending well.
Dijk is looking to control McFist's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dijk avoid being mounted?
Dijk is looking to improve his position.
McFist trying to control from half guard but Dijk is working away.
McFist is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Dijk throws a chopping leg kick but McFist manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
McFist circles away from the clinch attempt
and McFist counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McFist.

McFist makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dijk throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Dijk will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Dijk lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Dijk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McFist on the ground.
Dijk wants to get back to his feet but McFist is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dijk on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dijk tries to get out of the position.
McFist scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dijk is breathing heavily.
McFist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dijk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McFist trying to control the position from guard on top but Dijk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McFist looking to sit in guard and control but Dijk gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dijk with a flurry of punches that miss.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McFist preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dijk landing some decent shots from guard.
McFist throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Dijk wants to control from the top but McFist keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dijk closes the distance looking to clinch
so McFist counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dijk wants to stand up but McFist is controlling him.
McFist is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McFist throwing strikes but missing.
McFist landing with the ground and pound.
Dijk is rocked!
McFist lands a couple of digs.
Oh Dijk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McFist stands up from guard. Let's bang!
McFist dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Dijk has had enough and taps out.
