Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Donaldsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Upper Cut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cut displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Donaldsen.
Cut throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Donaldsen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cut thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cut plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Cut throws a sloppy head kick and Donaldsen moves out of range easily.
Cut tries a head kick but it misses.

Donaldsen gets a double leg takedown into Cut's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cut wants to stand and escape but Donaldsen is having none of it.
Donaldsen wants to stand but Cut has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Cut really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Donaldsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cut looks winded!
Donaldsen trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cut's guard.
Donaldsen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Don Donaldsen just wasn't active enough.

Donaldsen takes the fight into the clinch.
Cut keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Donaldsen's efforts to push away.
Cut tries to break the clinch but Donaldsen is controlling the position.
Donaldsen is trying to pull guard but Cut turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Donaldsen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cut pulls his leg out and moves away.

Cut swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cut lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Donaldsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Cut sprawls well. He's pushed Donaldsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cut throws a head kick but Donaldsen moves out of range.

Upper Cut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donaldsen avoids the head kick by Cut.

Donaldsen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Donaldsen wants to control from the top but Cut keeps moving.

Cut throws an off balance right hand
and Donaldsen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cut thinking.
Donaldsen avoids the head kick by Cut.
Cut misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Donaldsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Donaldsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Donaldsen has hold of Cut's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cut seems comfortable defending it but Donaldsen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cut is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cut is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Donaldsen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
