The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali cracks Bdp with a good jab.
Ali doesn't manage to clinch there - Bdp circles away.
Adam Bdp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bdp tries to clinch but Ali moves out of range.

Ali should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bdp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ali sprawls well. Ali wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bdp gets slowly back to his feet.
Bdp steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ali.

Bdp doesn't manage to clinch there - Ali circles away.

Ali drops Bdp with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bdp! Ali dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
