The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathers fails with the takedown.
Mathers tries to clinch there but Rider circles away.
Mathers drives through and clinches with Rider against the ropes.
Mathers using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rider has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mathers tries to land knees in the clinch but Rider avoids the damage to the body.

Mathers throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rider blocks it with crossed arms.
Mathers throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Mathers gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rider.
Rider wants the takedown. Mathers is fighting it off but Rider persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mathers's guard against the ropes.
Mathers can't keep his opponent in guard - Rider advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Rider wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mathers keeps working.
Rider prevents Mathers from improving his position.
