The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Daniels has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Emelianenko is trying to push Daniels away but Daniels has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Daniels dips a shoulder and cracks Emelianenko with a mighty uppercut! Emelianenko falls back against the cage and Daniels unloads with a barrage of strikes! Emelianenko is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Daniels screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
