Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daken Akihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chi Booka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chi Booka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Booka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Booka showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Akihiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Booka tries to avoid it but Akihiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Booka to the ground. Booka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
