Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Huey Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs misses with the combination.
Freeman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Briggs tries for a takedown but Freeman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Freeman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Briggs swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Briggs manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Freeman on his heels. He'll look to pass Freeman's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Briggs works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Briggs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Freeman pushes Briggs away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Briggs gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Briggs throws a strike aimed at the side of Freeman's head but Freeman avoids it well.
Briggs looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Briggs scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Freeman to see if he's OK.

Briggs lands a strong strike to the head of Freeman. That's dazed him! Briggs looking to finish here. Freeman is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Briggs lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
