Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donnell Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karsten Feigel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donnell Webb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karsten Feigel!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Feigel sprawls well. Feigel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Webb gets slowly back to his feet.
Feigel scores with a jab to the body.
Webb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Feigel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Feigel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Webb is trying to improve his position.
Feigel tries to move into full mount but can't pass Webb's legs.
Feigel tries to stand but Webb is controlling his head.
Webb tries to bench press Feigel off him but Feigel keeps the position.

Feigel throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Feigel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Webb is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Feigel has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Feigel is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Webb's shoulder. That is not cool.

Feigel decides to stand back up. Feigel steps back and let's Webb get back to his feet.
Feigel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Webb circles away quickly and effectively.

Webb gets tackled into the cage by Feigel. Feigel maintains the clinch.
Webb is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Feigel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Feigel jumps guard and drags Webb to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Webb loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Webb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Feigel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Feigel wants to sweep here but Webb controlling him for the moment.
Webb missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Webb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Feigel drives through with a takedown into guard.

Webb throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Feigel prevents Webb from getting back to his feet.
Feigel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Webb is proving hard to escape from.
Webb is trying to control the position but Feigel postures up.
Webb doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Webb wants to get back to his feet but Feigel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Webb keeping moving, preventing Feigel from controlling successfully.
Webb has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Webb is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Feigel feints and as Webb raises his hands in defense, Feigel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Feigel looks winded!
Webb controls Feigel momentarily but Feigel frees himself.
Webb pulls Feigel in close to prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Webb tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Feigel forces Webb back against the cage and clinches.
Webb has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Feigel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Feigel lands an elbow inside that Webb shrugs off.


It looks like Donnell Webb has been cut.
Webb tries to pull guard but Feigel forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Feigel lands a knee to the body.

Feigel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Webb moves to clinch but Feigel breaks away
and Feigel counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Webb gets caught flat footed, as Feigel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Feigel gets to his feet. Webb looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Feigel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Webb looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Webb is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Feigel presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Webb throws a hook to the side of Feigel's head but Feigel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Karsten Feigel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Feigel shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Feigel showed some decent athleticism there.

Webb is looking for a triangle but Feigel pushes his legs off easily.

Feigel dives in and scores a takedown into Webb's guard.

Feigel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Webb has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Feigel has managed to get both his arms back between Webb's legs - danger averted.
Feigel wants to get up but he can't break Webb's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Feigel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Karsten Feigel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Webb decides to stand up, so the ref orders Feigel to his feet.
Webb keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Webb tries to keep at a distance but Feigel has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Webb tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Feigel just stands there and leans against the cage.
Webb wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Donnell Webb has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Karsten Feigel is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Feigel landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

I would just about give that final round to Karsten Feigel.
Well Feigel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
